Oppo is known for its camera and manufacturing quality. Oppo has announced the K13 Turbo series officially yesterday, and introduced two almost upper-range smartphones. One of them is Oppo K13 Turbo with a built-in cooling fan, along with top water-resistance ratings for both smartphones i.e., IPX9, IPX8, and IPX6.
Oppo claims that the active cooling fan in K13 Turbo combined with a vapor chamber inside keeps it normal in high temperatures of 41° C and 43° C during MOBA and open-world mobile games playing. The K13 Turbo pro is launched with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, and a powerful 7,000mAh battery on Monday in China.

Oppo K13 Turbo Pro Short Review

One of the best features of this smartphone is the cooling fan, which is placed internally and prevents the mobile from heating up while playing heavy graphics games.
The OPPO K13 Turbo pro comes equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 8735 SoC originally debuting in the Reno 14 Pro, while the K13 Turbo showcases the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset for the first time on an OPPO device. Both models sport a 50MP main camera, a 2MP secondary shooter, and a 16MP front-facing lens.
For cooling, OPPO deploys a sizable fan engine that leverages a dual-path L-shaped air duct and a micro-centrifugal impeller. This setup boosts airflow by 120% and lifts heat dissipation by 20%. A turbo breathing light illuminates under active cooling, visually signifying the system is engaged.
The fan module itself is 70% smaller, tipping the scales at a mere 2.8g. This trim design trims 0.4mm from the overall thickness while preserving battery capacity; alternatively, the same thickness can pack an extra 600mAh. Despite the fan assembly, both models retain an IPX9, IPX8, and IPX6 waterproofing shield. OPPO claims this is the first full-waterproof air-cooling system in a smartphone, resilient against hot spray, full submersion, and high-pressure jets.
