You may have noticed that some Mobile Phones, Laptops, and Tablets have ‘I’ in the beginning; it basically means that it is manufactured by Apple. In reality, it doesn’t matter whether a person has an iPhone or not; they will still recognise it.
But the real question is ‘What does ‘I’ mean in iPhone?’ Steve Jobs, who introduced the iMac Computer in 1998, answered this question. When he was composing it, he said that ‘I’ means Internet as it is related to the internet, but this can’t be the only meaning.
At that event, he said that he wants people to know that this is a computer that has internet access. So eventually he said that it doesn’t mean that ‘I’ only means internet, moreover, it is the abbreviation of four words. Those four words are inform, instruct, inspire, and individual.
Steve Jobs said that it doesn’t matter that we are a personal computer company and this device is for the internet, but most importantly, this can be used for educational and teaching purposes. Moreover, he said that he believes that in the future we will see more unique devices inspired by this device.
In 2007, the iPhone was released, and it was ensured that we could use the internet in this mobile Phone. But keep in mind that it is called iPhone because it belongs to the Apple company, and people are using Apple’s product, so they don’t only believe that it’s not only because of the use of the Internet in it.
For Example, back in 2001, when the first iPod was introduced, it didn’t have the feature or option to make use of the internet.
